A word game that works without internet

On the subway, on a plane or in the middle of nowhere: everything you play on your own works offline, with no account and no permission beyond internet.

What works offline

  • The daily challenge, and past days as practice.
  • All 450 levels of the word wheel, with their hints.
  • The 150 levels of the growing wheel.
  • The Forge on your own, with your record.
  • Duels against the house players.

What needs a connection

  • Duels and rooms against other people.
  • The Forge Live.
  • Creating an account and backing up.

Where your progress is kept

Without an account, everything is kept on your phone: your streak, your levels and your words. If you uninstall the app or change phones, it is lost.

With a free account, your daily results and your rating are also kept on the server, and you get them back on another phone.

Frequently asked questions

Does it use data?

Hardly any. Playing on your own without an account, the app only connects to check whether there is a new version.

Does the daily change even if I am offline?

Yes: the challenges ship inside the app, so today's is there even without a connection.

Does it need special permissions?

No. The only permission Wexel asks for is internet access.
